Is the app free?

Poolyse offers a limited free trial including 10 analyses.

• How does the analysis work?

- Dip the test strip into the pool or spa.
- Wait 10 seconds and scan the test strip immediately with the app, aligning it in the frame. (To obtain accurate results, it is essential not to scan the test strip in direct sunlight.)
It is important to scan the test strip immediately (risk of an inaccurate analysis).
- Poolyse detects the colors, calculates pH, chlorine, bromine, total alkalinity, stabilizer, and provides the recommended dosages.
- Results appear after a few seconds.

Do I need to enter information about my pool?

Yes, only once:
- The pool water volume in m³.
- The treatment method: chlorine, bromine, or salt electrolysis.This information makes it possible to calculate dosages tailored to your pool.

• Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, at any time from your Apple/Google account.

• Is the app available in several languages?

Yes, Poolyse is available in 7 languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.
The language automatically adapts to your device language, with the option to change it in the app settings.

• What notifications does Poolyse offer?

Types of notifications:
- Seasonal alerts: heatwaves, rain/storms, start of the season, winterizing
- Information & Tips: analysis reminders, safety, tips, maintenance advice
- Weather: automatic alerts (heatwaves, severe weather) or specific conditions
Quiet hours:
- By default: 10 p.m.–8 a.m.
- “Non-urgent” notifications are limited during this period.
Delivery requirements:
- Internet connection required at the time of sending
- Notification permissions required
- Exclude Poolyse from battery optimization
Best practices:
- Keep the app up to date
- Use the correct display language.

• Does the app work offline?

Yes, analysis can work offline.
An internet connection is required to:
- synchronize history
- receive notifications
- update app data

• Where can I access Poolyse subscriptions?

1. Open the Poolyse app.
2. If you already have a Poolyse account, sign in to your account.
3. Go to the Subscription menu.
4. View the different plans available:* 1 month

5. You can also restore a subscription already associated with your account.
6. Account creation and subscription management are available on the Poolyse website.

• Is data secure?

- Privacy: Your data is protected and is never resold.
- Storage: Local history with synchronization; compliance with Apple/Google policies.

• What advice is there for treating my pool correctly?

- Preferably treat your pool in the evening: after swimming, add your maintenance products and let the filtration pump run to distribute the treatment evenly through the water.- Never mix concentrated products together. This can be dangerous.- Always add the product to the water, and not the other way around, to avoid any unwanted reaction.- Choose quality products: to guarantee safety and effectiveness, it is recommended to buy from a specialist pool professional.- The advice provided in this analysis is based on the experience and expertise of the Poolyse team, to help you keep your water clear and healthy safely.- A small amount of stabilizer in the water improves how long chlorinated pool products remain effective against the sun's UV rays; in other words, some stabilizer is useful to prevent the sun's rays from eliminating chlorine from the water too quickly.
However, if there is too much stabilizer in the water, chlorine no longer works and the water is over-stabilized (above 50 mg/l, partial renewal is recommended, draining ⅓; above 60 mg/l, significant renewal is recommended, draining ¼).
Why regulate TAC?
- TAC decreases when it rains, when people swim, with jets, waterfalls…
